Chris Worfold
Chris Worfold is a Brisbane (Meanjin) based Visual Artist and Senior Lecturer in Creative Industries and Digital Design at the University of Canberra in partnership with TAFE QLD Brisbane.
He is a graduate of the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology - BVA, Grad Dip Ed, BA(Hons), Ph.D. He is a highly experienced educator of over 20 years and has written, structured, and delivered Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs.
Chris has been co-director of a commercial gallery, curated numerous exhibitions, and written for catalogues and publications.
He has completed public art projects and illustration commissions and served on arts committees. He has an extensive exhibition history and has exhibited internationally in Taipei, Seoul, Paris, and New York.
His recent research and practice have investigated the confluence of analogue painting and digital imaging, and he is currently researching Jungian symbolism.
